Varsity girls had a great season, finishing with a 9-5 record. The highlighted match was when the Lady Bulldogs beat Prince Avenue 3-2 after losing earlier in the season 2-3. The team was led by Isabella Hurley with a 11-1 record, Eliza Malcom playing at number 2 position with a 7-4 record and finishing up with Rae Maddox at 3 singles with a 11-1 record. In doubles, GWA had Ingrid Dolvin partnering with Melissa Gish resulting in a power duo that won most of their matches at the number 1 position, Ivy Turner and Audrey Bradley playing on number 2 doubles. GWA also featured Abby Stone, Julia Waldo, Austin Silverberg, Catherine Lazenby and Jennifer Allahverdieva playing during the season. Varsity girls qualified for Regionals. They had a great season and can’t wait for the next one!

Head Coach-Chiara Di Salvo

Coach Di Salvo is from Cordoba, Argentina and graduated from Georgia Gwinnett College with a Business degree with a Marketing concentration. She played four years for GGC, winning three National Championships in the NAIA Division. She was named a First Team All-American for her division three times. She was ranked #1 in the country in doubles and #3 in singles. In juniors, Coach Di Salvo played in many international tournaments, beginning at the age of 12.  She serves as the varsity and middle school girls coach :

Middle School

Middle school girls finished with an undefeated season with a 12-0 record. The team beat Hebron, their toughest opponent,  5-0 in the beginning of the season. Reagan Peppers led the team playing at the number 1 position, winning all of her matches. Camille Malcom helped the team by winning all her matches at the number 2 position. Avery Collin played number 3 thorough the all season, finishing undefeated. In number 1 doubles, Mia Smith partnered with Lili Sheehan and they only lost one match. Sixth graders Emma Dopp, Kirsten Henderson, Patricia Sauer and Reese Behnke helped the team at the number 2 doubles position winning most of their matches.
