Theater Arts

"Great theatre is about challenging how we think and encouraging us to fantasize about a world we aspire to."
Willem Dafoe

GWA's theatrical productions showcase the talent, creativity and imagination of students of all ages. The program provides opportunities to explore a full-range of theater arts - character development, acting, set design, theatrical makeup, stagecraft, and more. Through participation in theater arts, students develop communication skills, discover the value of collaboration, and grow in confidence.

Students have opportunities to participate in regional competitions and attend theater conferences to learn new techniques and gain valuable feedback from experts in the field. Each year, the dance, music and theater arts departments combine efforts to produce impressive productions that delight audiences and allow students to shine.
