Baseball Program History 

George Walton Academy introduced its baseball program during the 1987–1988 school year. Over the years, the program has grown significantly, both in achievements and facilities.
• 1997 – A brand-new baseball field was constructed, providing a dedicated home for the team.
• 2001 – The field underwent major renovations to enhance the playing experience.
• 2016 – An indoor hitting facility was added, and the field earned the prestigious “GHSA Field of the Year” award.
• 2025 – The home bullpen received a full upgrade, including new turf, new mounds, and a full overhead covering.

• State Runner-Up (GISA) – 1992
• Region Champions – 1990, 1992, 2006, 2013, 2016
• Final Four Appearances – 2001, 2007, 2010, 2013
• Elite Eight Appearances – 2001–2003, 2006–2010, 2012, 2013, 2016, 2024
• Playoff Appearances – 1990–2020, 2022–2024
