Mission-Driven Education, Lasting Value

At George Walton Academy, tuition is more than a cost—it is a commitment to a mission-driven education that develops the whole child. Grounded in our core values of excellence, integrity, respect, and community, a GWA education challenges students academically while nurturing character, leadership, and a sense of purpose. Through small classes, dedicated faculty, and meaningful relationships, students are known, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential. We are committed to partnering with families to ensure that a George Walton Academy education remains a lasting value for years to come. We believe hard-working, talented students deserve exceptional educational opportunities. Through a variety of programs, we strive to make the lasting benefits of a GWA education widely available to qualified students like yours. Affording GWA

The George Walton Academy financial aid program exists to provide qualified students in grades K5–12, whose families require financial assistance, the opportunity to pursue a George Walton Academy education. GWA is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive community that reflects a broad range of socioeconomic backgrounds.

George Walton Academy maintains a need-blind admissions process; a student’s eligibility for financial aid is not considered in admission decisions. To assist in evaluating family financial need, GWA partners with FACTS Grant & Aid, an advisory company that provides a need-based financial aid analysis, including a recommendation of the amount each family can reasonably contribute toward tuition. The distribution of financial aid awards is based on demonstrated student need, the academic and non-financial contributions of the student and family, and the availability of space and funding.

"GWA was life shaping for me. I made life-long friends, learned from amazing teachers, and contributed to a supportive community. I was incredibly prepared for a complete college experience balancing varsity athletics and difficult academics, and I am thankful for my 6 years at GWA that prepared me so well.”
