School Counseling

Welcome to the School Counselors' page at George Walton Academy

We're so glad you're here! Our goal is to encourage students to grow, learn, and thrive—both in the classroom and beyond. Whether it's academic planning, building friendships, managing emotions, or preparing for the future, we are here to help every student feel confident, connected, and capable.

We believe that every child has unique strengths and the potential to succeed. Our goal is to walk alongside students and families, offering guidance, encouragement, and resources to help navigate the school years with purpose and positivity.

We can assist students in reaching their academic goals by focusing on:

· Classroom instruction and support

· Small group and Individual counseling services provided upon request or referral

· Targeted intervention services tailored to address immediate student needs

· Support system development and networking
