The PARC

At George Walton Academy, the Place for Academic Reinforcement and Coaching (PARC) is a student-centered program that is dedicated to creating independent learners for lifelong academic success. The goal of this fee-based program is to equip all students with the learning strategies and skills necessary to become successful, independent learners. The PARC is designed to support our students with diagnosed learning differences in achieving this goal.

The PARC is available across all divisions and provides support to students with a current psychoeducational evaluation that shows diagnosed learning differences. The goal of this program is to create successful, independent learners by providing individualized support for each student enrolled in the PARC. These supports are tailored to the specific learning needs that are outlined in each student's psychological evaluation. The PARC provides both classroom and testing accommodations to make learning more accessible to our students with diagnosed learning differences.
