GWA is currently accepting applications for the 2012-2013 school year. Make plans to attend an information session and open house to learn more about the advantages of a George Walton education.

Use our front entrance (off of Spring Street) and follow the signs to the auditorium. No reservation is necessary. Please contact the admissions team to answer any questions you may have.
If you are interested in your child attending our Kindergarten program (K4 or K5), please contact Peggy Jordan to schedule a testing date. These dates and times are filling up fast.
George Walton Academy first, third, fifth and seventh grade students took the ITBS (Iowa Test of Basic Skills) in November. Results are in for first, third and fifth grade students for this school year's test. Seventh grade reports should be available shortly.

Two GWA students recently earned the recognition of National Merit Commended in the 2012 competition. Seniors Emily Myers and Crissy Mathews took the 2010 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test at this time last year and scored well enough to place among the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the competition.
