Coach Jackson grew up in Milford, Delaware. He played a variety of sports before discovering lacrosse at age 10. He graduated from Sussex Technical High School in 2004. While at Sussex Tech he was a 4-year varsity letterman and earned an invitation to the North-South Senior All-Star Game. After graduation Coach Jackson spent a year at Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA. He was named the team's most valuable freshman after scoring 28 points. He moved back home to Delaware after his freshman year and began coaching at his alma mater working with both the JV and Varsity teams in 2006 & 2007.

In 2007 Coach Jackson moved to San Diego, CA where he began coaching immediately. He started his California coaching tour in Rancho Bernardo Youth Lacrosse Club. He worked with both young male and female athletes from 5-15 years old.  Focusing heavily on developing sound fundamentals and increasing their understanding of the game.  Jackson also worked with several club teams in Northern County San Diego further developing young lacrosse players during the summer months. In 2008 Coach Jackson was named Offensive Camp Director at Great Western Lacrosse Camp, a staple in the lacrosse community for over 30 years. He was responsible for creating fun and challenging curriculum to help develop over 200 kids a summer. In 2009 Jackson was asked to be on the inaugural staff at Del Norte High School. He would spend the next 3 years as the Offensive Coordinator, helping build a brand-new program and transitioning to a full varsity program.

In 2012 Coach Jackson returned to school to finish his degree. He accepted a lacrosse scholarship to Concordia University-Irvine, located in Orange County California. While at Concordia, Jackson helped lead the team to their first ever Conference Championship and National Tournament. He was named Captain his Jr and Sr year and earned 1st Team All-Conference and 2nd Team All-American Honors. He graduated from Concordia in 2014 with a B.A. in Exercise and Sport Science.

After graduation Coach Jackson was named Offensive Coordinator at Champman University. In his time at Chapman, Jackson helped lead the team to three consecutive National Championship game appearances, winning it all in 2016. His team also captured two Conference Championships (2016 & 2018) He mentored 13 All-Conference Selections, 9 All-Americans, two Conference Player of the Year, and one National Player of the Year. While at Chapman, Jackson also became involved with the lacrosse community Corona and Norco, CA. In 2013 he coached with both the Corona Cavaliers Youth Lacrosse Club and at Norco High School. At Norco he helped the team transition from a student club to a Varsity school sanctioned sport. Norco improved their win total every year under Coach Jackson.

Coach Jackson has just recently relocated to Monroe from Southern California. He is married to his wife, Amanda, and they have two daughters. Autumn, age 10, who will attend George Walton Academy as a 5th grader, and Ellie who was born on December 12. They also have two dogs, Mia and Bailey, who are loving all the open space to play in.
